Here is a logo I drew recently for the superb San Diego band The Burning of Rome.

I have not posted in a while because I was working on a painting and doing a bunch of design work for a TV pilot. I finished the painting and I will post it when I get a good picture of it. I started doing these digital paintings in photoshop.

Earthless Poster... Go with your gut!

Here are some pictures of the Earthless poster I did for this weekend's show. Astra is releasing their new CD, "The Weirding" as well. I got a chance to pick it up a few weekends ago and it's a great trippy album. San Diego peeps should come out and party! These will be for sale at the merch booth at the show, and if there is any left they will be available in my etsy store Saturday.

About the poster: Originally I had planned for the whole run to be printed like the green version shown above. I was printing late at night and the lighting is not the greatest where I print and they just were not looking right to me. I decided to switch the run to black ink. Upon getting home and inspecting the posters in better lighting, I realized I like the green copies better. The lesson: GO WITH YOUR GUT.

These are 25 X 19" on 100lb. white cover stock. There are 4 of the green ones and 43 of the black. I also printed one with a silver/black combo and a handful of 1 color black copies.

Detroit Cobras Concert Poster

This is a screen printed poster for The Detroit Cobras' performance at The Casbah with The Dex Romweber Duo. The Detroit Cobras do old soul stuff all Rock N' Roll and I was bummed to miss the show. I'm sure it was a hoot. The poster is 12 X 18" and 2 colors on 100# white cover. The background was printed with a blend from metallic gold to metallic silver. Shiney! This is a signed and numbered edition of 57. Available in the store now.

Art Show Saturday May 9th... Poster!

I made this poster for my upcoming art show this Saturday. Please come if you are in SoCal. The Burning of Rome will be performing and this will be a lot of fun. I will have a lot of art available in the $20 price range.
